Hypnosis is defined as a natural, yet altered state of mind in which ‘critical thinking’ is relaxed and selective thinking is maintained. In this deeply relaxed, yet focused state, one can access the subconscious mind which is more open and responsive to positive suggestions. Hypnosis is also a skill, which means that the more we practice the better and easier we get at entering into the state of trance. Accessing the deep part of the mind opens a world of possibilities.
